The Powerful Law Of Repulsion

We’ve all heard about the “Law of Attraction.”  Who doesn’t love the concept?  I can attract good things into my life instead of bad, more business into my company and so on.

 

But as Newton’s third law points out: There are no isolated forces in the universe!  For every external force on an object there is an equivalent force acting in the opposite direction.  For every action an equal and opposite reaction.  This is a fundamental principle that reveals the symmetry in the universe.

 

The Opposite and Equal Force To The Law of Attraction is the Law of Repulsion

 

Oohh…not sure I like that!  We automatically embrace Attraction, but wait.  If I want to attract good things, shouldn’t I also repel bad things, too?  The fact is, both work together.  For every Yin there is also a Yang.  Neither good or bad, but rather, together creating harmony and balance.

 

In marketing, one of the most empowering concepts to embrace is the Law of Repulsion.

 

Why?  Isn’t marketing about getting MORE customers, sales, referrals and revenue?

 

Actually, when you Stand in Your Value what happens is You will REPEL a lot of people!

 

Your Number One Marketing Objective: REPEL As Many People As Possible!

 

OK, that was for the shock effect.  But it’s true.  Is it better to get 1000 leads or eliminate 800 of them who are unqualified so you ONLY work with the 200 Most Qualified?  Why waste your time, effort, energy, money and resources on the other 800?

 

You don’t have to be mean spirited, arrogant, disrepectful or ugly…when you Stand in Your Value some people will resonate and respond, others won’t.  Your values aren’t theirs.  Isn’t it better to know there’s not a good fit now — sooner, rather than later?

 

Guess what?  When you’ve zeroed in on your most likely market (demographics and psychographics) and Stand in Your Value with a Consistent, Congruent and Genuine message your Ideal Clients will come to you, trust you, listen to you, follow your guidance, buy from you repeatedly, and send you endless referrals.  Not a bad trade off!
