Polarizing Phrases Reboot Your Message

This one simple, great approach has served me many, many times: Figure out the message or phrase that clearly shows the advantage you bring to your client in a way that stops them and disrupts their thought process.

The classic example is, “Work Smarter, Not Harder!”

Hard work is wired into our psyche. This disrupts that with your alternative…leads to “How?” and “Tell me more…”

Other examples I’ve used successfully include:

“Get More, Keep More” (related to asset protection and taxes)

“We Do Everything, You Do Nothing,” (related to real estate investing)

“Sell Less, Make More,” (marketing and sales)

“Speak Less, Earn More” (professional speakers)

Try coming up with a disruptive phrase that will get their attention and change the conversation to how what you offer them, what you do, will transform their life and business.

Carpe Diem!
